Donna: privacy and data deletion

Donna is an AI assistant available through WhatsApp. This page explains how Donna handles personal information.

Privacy policy

When you message Donna, we process the message content and your WhatsApp phone number to provide a response, maintain the conversation, and improve the reliability and safety of the service.

Messages may be processed using trusted service providers that operate Donna’s hosting, database, and AI capabilities. We do not sell your personal information.

We retain information only for as long as needed to operate Donna, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the public, or our rights.

Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary. Donna is not intended for emergencies or urgent medical, legal, or financial decisions.

Request data deletion

To ask us to delete conversation data associated with your WhatsApp number, send a WhatsApp message to Donna saying “delete my data”. Include the phone number you used to contact Donna if you are writing from another number.

We will confirm the request and delete eligible information, subject to any data we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping reasons.
